Take One Action Film Festival 2011 Programme launched

August 01 2011

The 2011 Take One Action Film Festival programme has been launched...

The festival kicks off with outdoor preview screenings under the stars at the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh powered by bicylce (19 and 20 Sept), and opens at Filmhouse and Glasgow Film Theatre (21 and 22 Sept) with the official UK premiere of the new feature drama Even the Rain starring Gael Garcia Bernal, nominated for 13 Goyas (Spain's Oscars).

Take One Action Hero Archibishop Desmond Tutu said:
"These films and events bring to light stories from across the planet which – like South africa's injustices, courage and beauty – were once hidden. During this festival, you will see the change you want in the world."
