"Take One Action's focus on empowering local audiences to engage through film with global and environmental injustice is unique in the UK. This work is really, really important."
Patrons Ken Loach & Paul Laverty

Take One Action is the UK’s first film festival dedicated to active global citizenship.
We organise regular screenings and an annual festival for school groups, linked to many of the outcomes and experiences within the Health & Wellbeing and Social Studies of the Curriculum for Excellence (as well as key subjects including English, Geography, Modern Studies and History).
All screenings are accompanied by activities, resources and advice designed to support and encourage ongoing learning and projects in classroom.
