Volunteer with us
Take One Action is always keen to hear from people who would like to volunteer over a 3 month or longer period to help out at events, with marketing, or with festival administration. Below we will also list any specific volunteer roles that we are looking to fill with the team in Edinburgh at the current time. For general information about volunteering with Take One Action, drop us an email.
Website volunteer
Take One Action is seeking a website volunteer who can offer roughly a day a week for a minimum of 3 months to help keep our website up-to-date with events and news stories, and who can help drive traffic to the site through social networking etc. The role is based at our office just off Leith Walk, Edinburgh, although remote working may also be a possibility. This is a non-paid, voluntary position, but local travel and lunch expenses will be covered.
Are you familiar with adding events to Facebook? Do you have a creative interest in film and social change?
Our website system isn’t much more complicated than Facebook, so you don’t need to be a web developer to take on this role, just prove to us that you’re keen, and that you have experience of using internet and other programmes. If you DO have development experience though, we could definitely use it. And if you can demonstrate an interest in journalism or community education or cinema or social change, that might be handy too.
Apply for this role
