TOA Youth Programme 2015 – Edinburgh/Glasgow

ABOUT TAKE ONE ACTION

Take One Action Film Festivals inspires and connects young people through world- class cinema, creativity and action – to shape a better world, starting from Scotland. We believe small actions lead to big ones, and that we all make a difference.

“Take One Action breaks down the barriers of race and geography that separate us from people whose daily lives aren’t always very distant from our own” The Sunday Herald

WHO IS THE YOUTH PROGRAMME FOR?

As well as welcoming young people individually, we also want to strongly encourage committed teachers and youth workers to bring older students and young people to these carefully selected evening and weekend public screenings, to connect with Scotland’s wider global citizenship community.

We’ve made all youth screenings affordable (see also Community Fund for free tickets for hard to reach groups), and in some cases free. Details below. All events will be accompanied by discussion and resources to support ongoing learning and activity. Exact screening times tbc in August (generally around 6pm, excluding school screenings).
