2017 will mark Take One Action’s 10th anniversary. As we contemplate a decade celebrating the people and movies that are changing the world, we look forward to bringing exceptional international cinema to Scottish audiences for another year.
We’ll soon be sharing details of our 10th birthday plans (yes, there will be cake). In the meantime, we are delighted to be announcing our 2017 Festival dates: we’ll be returning to Edinburgh & Glasgow 13 – 24 September 2017 with 12 days of films, discussions, workshops and events across both cities.
In November we will be hitting the road for our Regional Festivals, alighting in Aberdeen from 17 – 19 November and inInverness from 24-26 November with two jam-packed weekends featuring our highlights from our 2017 Festival programme, curated in collaboration with our regional steering groups.
Full programme details will be published mid-August.
We look forward to growing the festival with the support of our audiences, our funders and partners, our volunteers, and the filmmakers and campaigners whose work continues to sustain and inspire us on our journey of enquiry, compassion and reflection.
