TOA 2025: Your Pathways to Action!

TOAFF25: Real Utopias – Glasgow Photo by Ingrid Mur

Well, that’s a wrap on Take One Action Film Festival 2025, and we’re brimming with joy from the hope, inspiration and connection that have emerged from our events! As our festivals in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and Dundee draw to a close, we want to carry forward the conversations and commitments that were sparked in our screenings and events across Scotland – and that’s where our Pathways resources come in.

If you came to one of our screenings, you’ll have been eagerly handed one: each resource is a curated checklist of concrete actions for each film in our 2025 programme (we’ve even adapted them for each city!). So, whether you’re diving into climate justice, workers’ rights, community resilience, or housing: these resources are designed to help you channel the energy and inspiration from our Real Utopias films into tangible change.

Below you’ll find Pathways for every film in this year’s programme. Many films screened across multiple cities with locally-tailored actions and resources, so choose the Pathway that connects best with where you are:
