Global Justice Edinburgh

Global Justice Edinburgh are the Edinburgh group of Global Justice Now – a democratic social justice organisation working as part of a global movement to challenge the powerful and create a more just and equal world. They believe that a better world is possible: a world where our resources and decisions about how they’re used lie in the hands of the many, not the few; a world where resources are available to all, not just to those who can afford them.

GJN mobilise people in the UK for change, and act in solidarity with those fighting injustice, particularly in the global south.

Scottish Fair Trade Forum

“The Scottish Fair Trade Forum stands up for the dignity and rights of the people who produce our goods, and aims for Scotland to become a global leader in using trade to challenge poverty.

We encourage businesses to incorporate Fair Trade principles and corporate accountability into their practices, and work with the public sector to integrate these principles into decision-making at all levels of government.

We engage the public in Scotland by raising awareness and understanding of the benefits of Fair Trade, and arrange for Fair Trade producers to visit Scotland to discuss their work.
