The ALLIANCE is the national third sector intermediary for a range of health and social care organisations with over 2,200 members including national support providers as well as small, local volunteer-led groups and people who are disabled, living with long term conditions or providing unpaid care.
Our vision is for a Scotland where people of all ages who are disabled or living with long term conditions, and unpaid carers, have a strong voice and enjoy their right to live well, as equal and active citizens, free from discrimination, with support and services that put them at the centre.
The Global Health Academy at the University of Edinburgh aims to improve global health and make life better through collaborative, interdisciplinary research, education and resource development.

The Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival is one of Scotland’s most diverse cultural events, covering everything from music, film and visual art to theatre, dance, and literature. By engaging artists, connecting with communities and forming collaborations, we celebrate the artistic achievements of people with experience of mental health issues, exploring the relationship between creativity and the mind, and promoting positive mental health & wellbeing
Water Witness International is a charity based in Edinburgh which works to improve the way in which rivers, streams, lakes and aquifers are managed.
We carry out targeted research and advocacy to deepen our understanding, share knowledge and ensure accountability to ensure a fair, secure and sustainable water future for all.
