Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE)

The ALLIANCE is the national third sector intermediary for a range of health and social care organisations with over 2,200 members including national support providers as well as small, local volunteer-led groups and people who are disabled, living with long term conditions or providing unpaid care.

Our vision is for a Scotland where people of all ages who are disabled or living with long term conditions, and unpaid carers, have a strong voice and enjoy their right to live well, as equal and active citizens, free from discrimination, with support and services that put them at the centre.

Global Health Academy (University of Edinburgh)

The Global Health Academy at the University of Edinburgh aims to improve global health and make life better through collaborative, interdisciplinary research, education and resource development.

The Academy, which has members within the University and across the world, encompasses all three Colleges across the University and is built on three pillars of activity in which the University excels:

Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival

The Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival is one of Scotland’s most diverse cultural events, covering everything from music, film and visual art to theatre, dance, and literature. The annual festival takes place in venues across Scotland aiming to support the arts and challenge preconceived ideas about mental health. By engaging artists, connecting with communities and forming collaborations, we celebrate the artistic achievements of people with experience of mental health issues, exploring the relationship between creativity and the mind, and promoting positive mental health & wellbeing

Dogwoof

Founded in 2004, Dogwoof work with communities, charities, NGOs and organisations focused on bringing positive change, are are pleased to work closely with Take One Action. Proud to be different from the average film distributor, we work intimately with filmmakers every step of the way through the release process across various platforms – knowing who we are and what we are good at means we love what we do and are thrilled to be growing from strength to strength.

Water Witness International

Water Witness International is a charity based in Edinburgh which works to improve the way in which rivers, streams, lakes and aquifers are managed.

We carry out targeted research and advocacy to deepen our understanding, share knowledge and ensure accountability to ensure a fair, secure and sustainable water future for all.

RoWAN

RoWAN wants to help people reduce their waste. A Scotland that is zero waste is going to be healthier and cleaner. We have participated in a broad range of environmental work. As a Community charity we are going door to door for the Waste Less Inverness project on recycling and working in schools in the RUUp4It project doing composting and gardening.
