to Make a bee haven

The Problem, Opportunity or Challenge

It is estimated that 84% of EU crops (valued at £12.6 billion) and 80% of wildflowers rely on insect pollination. Half of our 27 bumblebee species are in decline, and three of our bumblebee species have already gone extinct. If current trends continue, we may not have enough wild pollinators left.

How you can Take Action

Create a wildflower meadow to attract bees and other pollinators to your garden, patio or community area. Create habitats for pollinators and help them live. Become an amateur beekeeper and join 44,000 other beekeepers in the UK.

The difference your support could make

If we sow the seeds now to attract bees and pollinators back to our gardens and woods, we can help to work against a terrifying future of extinct bees. What's more, you'll help make your own garden and communal land more attractive!
