From greenwashing to political lobbying, multinational corporations have become adept at manipulating governments, workers and consumers alike.

Corporate practices, many of which perpetuate and exploit systemic racism, have been responsible for numerous social, health and environmental harms, while those who profit remain shielded from any blame or legal responsibility. If we are to #BuildBackBetter, where should we direct our energies and power?

Join international campaigners and campaigning organisations (incl. Global Justice Now and Friends of the Earth) for this interactive event, to explore how we can work towards more robust scrutiny, better representation and real accountability to build a world rooted in social justice and environmental sustainability, in which corporations – no matter their size – are fully accountable to people.
