Palestinian Jordanian director and producer Dina Naser (Tiny Souls) will explore her career development as a filmmaker, and how to move a story from a short to feature, alongside her approach to working with vulnerable children and her editing process.

Tiny Souls is an extension of the nine-minute short of the same name, which Dina shot in the world’s largest camp for Syrian refugees, Al Zaatari, back in 2012. Filmed over several years, the feature documents one family’s experience of displacement through the eyes of one inquisitive girl and her siblings, and features footage shot by the children themselves.

The masterclass will take place in the Main Lecture Theatre – room E22.
