Based in Sweden and the UK, producer Ruth Reid has a background in Law and documentary filmmaking. She will be exploring the production process and creative evolution of the award-winning feature documentary Scheme Birds, which follows one young character’s life over several years. Ruth will focus particularly on how to craft intimate stories that respect protagonists’ integrity.

Ruth has taken part in EURODOC, Jihlava’s Emerging Producers and the Rotterdam Lab and is an alumna of the Sundance Institute. She regularly guest lectures at film schools, university courses in advertising and communications and at film festivals.
