In 2012, hundreds of thousands of Adivasis, India’s indigenous people, embarked upon a country-wide march spanning hundreds of kilometres to demand a life of dignity.

Adivasis have borne the brunt of India’s destructive agricultural policies and large-scale infrastructure projects, as land grabs and environmental destruction have robbed them of their homes and traditional existence.
