
Palestine Will Be Free: Day of Action
Coinciding with the COP Global Day of Action, we reiterate that there is no climate justice without a Free Palestine. Join us for a hands-on session where we’ll gather in solidarity, education, and practical actions for a free Palestine.
Event format
10:30-11:00am – Welcome & Palestinian poetry readings
11:00am-12:00pm – Action stations: Dive into different practical routes to Palestinian solidarity and action, including:
- Art Workers for Palestine
Find out about AW4P’s incredible organising and how to get involved and find your role within the movement. - BDS (with Amira Al Shanti)
Equip yourself with knowledge and resources on the BDS movement and its most crucial targets; explore the real and proven power of boycotts, and how to embed them in our day-to-day lives. - Write to your MP (with TOA)
Read recommended email templates and send and share emails to lobby politicians to move beyond ceasefire and towards an end to the occupation. - Breaking down conversational barriers (with TOA)
Feel better equipped to have conversations about Palestinian liberation; break down misconceptions and build community and confidence to identify and reject narratives of oppression. - Reflection area
Take a moment to decompress, reflect and/or explore resources and further readings.
12:00-12:30pm – Regroup and share ideas/learnings, before heading to the weekly demo!
