A hands-on gathering blending practical knowledge-sharing with creative activities to (re)inspire you to host your own impactful film screenings.

Want to bring transformative cinema to your community but not sure where to start? Join us for this interactive gathering designed to inspire and equip you to host your own impactful film screenings in rural settings. Through collaborative mapping, hands-on activities, and practical discussions, we’ll explore how to find and programme world-changing films, develop audiences in rural areas, and create meaningful post-screening activities that spark local action. Whether you’re dreaming of starting a film club, revitalising an existing initiative, or simply curious about community cinema, this workshop will provide you with the tools and inspiration to plant seeds of change through film in your own corner of the Highlands and Islands.
