We are thrilled to be joining WOW – What Now? Perth this October for a jam packed day of creative conversation, debate, film screenings, a pub style quiz and exciting speakers. Celebrating women and girls whilst taking a frank look at the challenges we all still face in the movement towards gender equality, this event is not to be missed.

Join us at 10:15am for a journey of discovery from Jordan to Canada, from Syria to the Highlands. Delve into inspiring stories of women finding their voice as creatives, activists and passionate advocates for inclusive, positive change. Embrace new perspectives and insights, from an intimate documentary essay by a 17-year-old who captures the look, feel and sounds of her life in Jordan’s Za’atari Refugee Camp (Another Kind of Girl) to the beguiling stop-motion animation No Place Like Home, which follows a defiantly self-reliant woman in the Scottish Highlands.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with our Chair Lisa Stewart-Hough and the Perth Film Society.
