As climate change causes temperatures to rise, climatic events are forcing inhabitants from countries across the globe to leave their homes with little or no government protection. From floods to droughts, hurricanes to rising sea levels, the global human impact of climate change and its destabilising effect on international politics, are starting to be felt on a huge scale.

Climate Refugees explores this new crisis and features footage from 48 countries alongside a variety of leading scientists, relief workers, security consultants, and major political figures, all who make a strong case that, whether human-caused or a product of nature, the changing climate is already creating humanitarian disasters. The question now is how do we respond?
