This award-winning, immersive visual symphony to the honey bee and the quirky people who nurture them is a humble battle cry against a global food system that rests on unsustainable methods of pollination.
Albert Einstein famously said that “If the bee disappears, mankind will have four years left to live”. Today, in regions right across the world, 50% to 90% of local bee colonies have collapsed in an epidemic that continues to spread beehive to beehive. While the cause is still debated, it’s clear that the increasingly industrialised nature of beekeeping for pollination is causing the disease to spread faster than it can be contained.
