The director of an institution for people with mental illness in the Croatian city of Osijek decided to close his institution and to include its residents into society. As a social worker he could not stand anymore to feel like a director of some notorious prison. When we first met these people, they introduced themselves with their diagnoses rather than their names. Now they are again becoming people with individual personalities and life paths – our new-old neighbors.
