It is the year 2070, and there are no more prisons or police. Abolition Day is celebrated by honouring Black and Indigenous ancestors’ decades of revolutionary struggle, grief, and love that have transformed the world as we know it. This beautiful work of queer, Afrofuturist science fiction made by abolitionist artists interweaves archive footage with the words of contemporary revolutionaries, pulling a bright thread between the liberation movements of our past and present, and the utopian future we must fight to bring about.
