The infernal crustacean of myth, a giant crab whose back appears to be dry land, has spent years building up a collection of shipwrecks on the sea floor.
As more boats discover this apparent haven they start to build a house, then a town, then a city. As the buildings grow higher and higher the crab soon has to take matters in to his own hands.
