Demand Clean Air in Cities

Date posted: 23 January 2017

Help fix Scottish cities air pollution crisis: Research has shown that Scotland has illegal levels of air pollution from traffic. This is creating a public health crisis with air pollution being linked to cancers, heart attacks, strokes, delayed lung development in children and more recently, dementia in adults.

FoES want to make air pollution a big issue in this year’s Local Council elections and are asking the public to write to the party leaders of our cities urging them to deal with our air pollution crisis, to support the Scottish Government plans for a Low Emission Zone and to invest in walking and cycling in their cities.

Join them by writing to your local party leaders and demand for clean air in our cities!
