Families Outside

Families Outside is the only national charity in Scotland that works solely to support the families of people affected by imprisonment. They work to mitigate the effects of imprisonment on children and families – and consequently to reduce the likelihood of reoffending – through support and information for families and for the people who work with them.

Water Witness International

Water Witness International is a charity based in Edinburgh which works to improve the way in which rivers, streams, lakes and aquifers are managed.

We carry out targeted research and advocacy to deepen our understanding, share knowledge and ensure accountability to ensure a fair, secure and sustainable water future for all.

Edinburgh World Justice Festival

Set up after the Make Poverty History march in Edinburgh during the 2005 G20 meeting, the festival aims to
1. raise the profile of international justice and development issues;
2. provide an annual ‘shop window’ to the public; and
3. be a platform for co-operation and debate for the world justice movement in Edinburgh.
It puts together the programme of the festival which in 2014 is from 04 – 11 October, organising some key events, and co-ordinating all the other events which are put on by supporting organisations

Scottish Youth Parliament

The Scottish Youth Parliament is the democratically elected voice of Scotland’s young people. We are a young people’s parliament, designed by young people and led by young people for the benefit of young people. We are committed to ensuring young people are heard by the decision makers of Scotland and we are determined to campaign on the issues which matter most to Scotland’s young people.

The Skinny

The Skinny is Scotland’s largest entertainment and listings magazine, targeting 16 – 35 year olds we are a free monthly newsprint press, with further information available online and via our weekly eNewsletter.

The Skinny aims to encourage our readership to actively engage and participate with the cultural scenes and emerging artists across Scotland. Via extensive coverage of music, visual arts, independent film, literature and more we hope to provide awareness of the individuals, groups and communities that are creating Scotland.

Creative Scotland

Creative Scotland is the public body that supports the arts, screen and creative industries across all parts of Scotland on behalf of everyone who lives, works or visits here.
