OverviewTRJFP intercepts food that would otherwise not make it to plate and serves it as delicious meals. Alongside the positive environmental impacts of reducing edible food waste, the project has clear social benefits through operating a strictly Pay-as-you-feel (PAYF) policy. Transcending monetary transactions, this liberates people to use their skills and attributes as well as money to pay for their meals, & highlights the absurdity that the produce used has been stripped of its monetary value but retains its nutritional value. TRJFP encourages a reflection on how we value food as a resource.
