Combining DIY cultivation with community-centred justice work like shared meals, workshops, campaigning and organising, RHYZE Mushrooms’ work is rooted in mycelial values: community, collaboration and mutual aid.
TRJFP intercepts food that would otherwise not make it to plate and serves it as delicious meals. Alongside the positive environmental impacts of reducing edible food waste, the project has clear social benefits through operating a strictly Pay-as-you-feel (PAYF) policy. Transcending monetary transactions, this liberates people to use their skills and attributes as well as money to pay for their meals. TRJFP Glasgow welcomes your contribution.
