Transition Stirling

Transition Stirling is an environmental charity focusing on improving awareness of, and providing a positive local response to, climate change in and around Stirling.

It was formed in October 2009 by a group of volunteers for people who want to work on positive solutions to the problems the Stirling area will face in the future due to rising oil prices and climate change.

Glasgow City Council

We want Glasgow to flourish as a modern, multi-cultural, metropolitan city of opportunity, achievement, culture and sporting excellence where citizens and businesses thrive and visitors are always welcomed.

SHRUB Coop

The Shrub Swap and Reuse Hub is Edinburgh’s hub for creative reuse. In 4 years it’s grown from an idea into an exciting community hub for sustainable living.

We’ve put loads of love into our space on Guthrie Street and it’s looking and running better than ever, offering hundreds of creative reuse and repair workshops and enabling you to reduce your waste by swapping things you don’t need for things you do.

We’d love to welcome you to our community! Get involved by becoming a member from just £12 per year, sign up for our newsletter and check out our volunteering opportunities.

The Climate Coalition

Along with sister organisations Stop Climate Chaos Cymru and Stop Climate Chaos Scotland, The Climate Coalition are a group of over 130 organisations — including the National Trust, Women’s Institute, Oxfam, and RSPB — reaching across the UK to show our love for all the things we want to protect from climate change, and to ask politicians to put aside their differences and commit to doing whatever is necessary to protect them.
