We campaign on a range of environmental issues to persuade politicians and businesses to adopt policies and practices which are more environmentally beneficial, taking account of their environmental impact and understanding how taking care of the environment helps us all. We encourage the public to adopt positive environmental behaviours, and collaborate with other green groups for greater impact
We are a partnership of arts organisations helping to shape a sustainable Scotland. Our mission is to:
• Engage the cultural sector in actively promoting environmental sustainability and addressing climate change
• Help the sector take a lead in shaping an environmentally sustainable Scotland
• Help the sector run itself as environmentally sustainably as possible
The Shared Planet Society is a group of students who are passionate about issues surrounding the environment and social justice. We run a daily vegan cafe, a food cooperative and weekly vegbag scheme, as well as running campaigns on issues we care about.
We believe that everyone should have access to a healthy environment and a fair share of the Earth’s resources. We help people take action here in Scotland to make a difference on global environmental issues. We campaign for a cleaner, greener, Scotland, and a fairer economic system.
Stop Climate Chaos Scotland is a diverse coalition of 60 organisations in Scotland campaigning together on climate change. Our members include environment, faith and international development organisations, trade and student unions and community groups.
Oxfam Scotland is a movement of people who share the belief that, in a world rich in resources, poverty isn’t inevitable. From saving lives in disasters, to helping people earn a living or campaigning for change that lasts – people power drives everything Oxfam does.
Highland Environmental Network (HEN) works to coordinate and enable the sharing of information, expertise, education and action on the environment and sustainability in the Highlands of Scotland.
We do this by
– promoting environmental education, in its widest sense, in all sectors of the community within the Highlands
– sharing environmental information and expertise
– encouraging the involvement of individuals and community groups in environmental debate and action
Founded in 2004, Dogwoof work with communities, charities, NGOs and organisations focused on bringing positive change, are are pleased to work closely with Take One Action. Proud to be different from the average film distributor, we work intimately with filmmakers every step of the way through the release process across various platforms – knowing who we are and what we are good at means we love what we do and are thrilled to be growing from strength to strength.
