Highland Environmental Network

Highland Environmental Network (HEN) works to coordinate and enable the sharing of information, expertise, education and action on the environment and sustainability in the Highlands of Scotland.

We do this by
– promoting environmental education, in its widest sense, in all sectors of the community within the Highlands
– sharing environmental information and expertise
– encouraging the involvement of individuals and community groups in environmental debate and action

Dogwoof

Founded in 2004, Dogwoof work with communities, charities, NGOs and organisations focused on bringing positive change, are are pleased to work closely with Take One Action. Proud to be different from the average film distributor, we work intimately with filmmakers every step of the way through the release process across various platforms – knowing who we are and what we are good at means we love what we do and are thrilled to be growing from strength to strength.

Unison Scotland

UNISON is Scotland’s biggest and liveliest trade union, representing 150,000 members delivering public and related services across Scotland. We believe decent, accessible and accountable public services are vital to everyone, and international solidarity and links with unions overseas is central to our work.

Water Witness International

Water Witness International is a charity based in Edinburgh which works to improve the way in which rivers, streams, lakes and aquifers are managed.

We carry out targeted research and advocacy to deepen our understanding, share knowledge and ensure accountability to ensure a fair, secure and sustainable water future for all.

RoWAN

RoWAN wants to help people reduce their waste. A Scotland that is zero waste is going to be healthier and cleaner. We have participated in a broad range of environmental work. As a Community charity we are going door to door for the Waste Less Inverness project on recycling and working in schools in the RUUp4It project doing composting and gardening.

Global Justice Now

Global Justice Now is a UK-based anti-poverty campaigning organisation, with a worldwide reputation for tackling hard-hitting, controversial issues. We investigate, expose and challenge government policies and corporate actions that harm vulnerable communities in some of the poorest countries. In the UK, Global Justice Now has over 70 local groups supported by our staff, who lobby decision-makers, organise public campaigning and produce robust research to win change for the world’s poorest people. We believe a fairer world is possible.
